Irradiation is prohibited under the Australian Organic Standard. If a product is organic and sold by a business operating under the Australian Organic Standard (i.e. We are ACO certified), then you can be assured that it has not been irradiated.
Food (including any ingredients or components) which have been irradiated, must be labelled with the statement that the products has been treated with Ionising radiation.
