Are your products suitable for sprouting?

We don’t sell products specifically for the purpose of sprouting. Sprouting is an exacting science which requires a certain amount of chilling time at a specific temperature and moisture level, followed by an increase in temperature and moisture level as well as darkness. Sprouting also depends on factors including the water's pH, mineral, salt content and the water's temperature.

Most Australian grown organic and natural beans, peas and grains may be able to sprout. Any seeds with an origin outside of Australia could have been slightly heat treated on entry in order to adhere to quarantine laws and will most likely not sprout.

Considering the possible variations in your environment, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that our products will sprout. It may require some testing and experimentation. Some customers report they had success and some report they have not.
