Does your Nutritional Yeast contain sulphites?

Does your Nutritional Yeast contain sulphites?

There is no added sulphate in our Nutritional Yeast. Yeast naturally produces sulphite during fermentation. The sulphite is naturally occurring in the molasses used to grow the yeast.

The tested sulphite concentration is under 10 mg/kg, which according to Food Standards Australia New Zealand code (FSANZ), is not a declarable level.

However, we choose to declare this on our packaging to allow our customers to make an informed choice about their purchases.
