Organic Australian Quinoa Availability

Organic Australian Quinoa Availability

Why is Organic Australian Quinoa currently unavailable?

Due to a wet and cold growing season, this year’s Australian organic quinoa harvest was significantly lower than expected. As a result, supply is currently limited while the harvested crop undergoes cleaning and quality assessment.

When will Organic Australian Quinoa be back in stock?

Unfortunately, we do not have a confirmed restock date at this stage. The supplier is still processing the harvest and determining the final usable yield, making it difficult to provide an accurate timeline.

Why can't an estimated date be provided?

Before the quinoa can be packed and sold, it must be cleaned and assessed to determine how much of the harvest meets quality standards. Until this process is complete, the supplier cannot accurately estimate available volumes or timing.

Will Organic Australian Quinoa return?

Yes. The supplier is actively working through the harvest and cleaning process, and we hope to offer Australian Organic Quinoa again once sufficient stock becomes available.

Is there an alternative available?

Yes. While Australian Organic Quinoa is temporarily unavailable, we currently stock Organic White Quinoa sourced from Bolivia. This certified organic quinoa is naturally gluten free, versatile, and can be used in the same way as Australian quinoa in salads, soups, baking, porridge, and everyday cooking.

Is Bolivian quinoa different from Australian quinoa?

Both are certified organic, naturally gluten free, and a good source of plant-based protein and fibre. While flavour and grain characteristics may vary slightly depending on growing conditions, they can generally be used interchangeably in recipes.

Why don't you source more Australian quinoa?

We remain committed to supporting Australian growers wherever possible. However, this season's challenging weather conditions have affected harvest yields across the crop. We will continue working with our supplier and look forward to restocking Australian Organic Quinoa when supply becomes available.

Can I be notified when Australian Organic Quinoa returns?

Yes. Simply select the "Notify Me When Available" option on the product page, and you'll receive an email notification as soon as stock is replenished.
