Organic Australian Quinoa Availability

Organic Australian Quinoa Availability

Why is Organic Australian Quinoa currently unavailable?

Due to a wet and cold growing season, this year’s Australian organic quinoa harvest was significantly lower than expected. As a result, supply is currently limited while the harvested crop undergoes cleaning and quality assessment.

When will Organic Australian Quinoa be back in stock?

Unfortunately, Australian Organic Quinoa will not be available for the remainder of this year due to the poor harvest.

We hope supply will return following next season's harvest; however, availability will depend on growing conditions and crop yields.

Why can't additional stock be produced this year?

Seed cleaning has now been completed, and the final harvest yield has been confirmed to be insufficient to meet demand. As a result, there is no remaining Australian organic quinoa available for further production this season.

Will Organic Australian Quinoa return?

Yes. We remain committed to sourcing Australian Organic Quinoa and hope to offer it again following next season's harvest, subject to crop availability.

Is there an alternative available?

Yes. While Australian Organic Quinoa is temporarily unavailable, we currently stock Organic White Quinoa sourced from Bolivia. This certified organic quinoa is naturally gluten free, versatile, and can be used in the same way as Australian quinoa in salads, soups, baking, porridge, and everyday cooking.

Is Bolivian quinoa different from Australian quinoa?

Both are certified organic, naturally gluten free, and a good source of plant-based protein and fibre. While flavour and grain characteristics may vary slightly depending on growing conditions, they can generally be used interchangeably in recipes.
