Wholegrain Milling Organic Flour Discontinuation | FAQ & Kialla Pure Foods Transition

Wholegrain Milling Organic Flour Discontinuation

Q: Why are your organic flour products changing?  A: Wholegrain Milling has made the decision to discontinue their organic flour range. While this wasn't our decision, we've worked to find the best replacement so we can continue offering a high-quality range of certified organic flour.

Q: Are you discontinuing organic flour?

A: No, Honest to Goodness remains committed to offering certified organic flour. As part of this transition, we'll be introducing Kialla Pure Foods, a trusted Australian producer of certified organic flour, as our new supplier.

Q: Can I still buy my usual Wholegrain Milling flour?
A:At the time of writing this, we currently have a few months' worth of stock, so you can continue purchasing your favourite products while stocks last. As products sell through, they will gradually be replaced by the closest Kialla equivalent where available. We will also continue to stock the Wholegrain Milling Sustainable Flour range, so customers will continue to have access to both sustainable and certified organic flour options.

Q: When will Kialla flour be available?
A: The first Kialla retail-size bag products are expected to arrive shortly and will begin appearing on shelves as our current Wholegrain Milling stock sells through.

Q: Why did you choose Kialla?
A: Kialla Pure Foods is a trusted Australian producer of certified organic flour with a long-standing reputation for quality. Their commitment to premium organic products aligns with our values, and we're confident they'll provide an excellent replacement for our current range.

Q: Will the flour be the same?
A: While the brand and packaging will be different, Kialla flours are certified organic and made from quality Australian-grown grains. There may be slight differences depending on the product, but we're confident you'll continue to enjoy the same high standard of quality.

Q: Will all of the current products have a replacement?
A: We have worked to source suitable replacements for the majority of our current organic flour range. While most products will have a Kialla equivalent, some pack sizes or product varieties may differ.

Q: Will you still stock Wholegrain Milling products?
A: Yes. We will continue to stock the Wholegrain Milling Sustainable Flour range, so customers will continue to have access to both sustainable and certified organic flour options.

Q: Will prices change?
A: Yes. Pricing for the Kialla organic flour range differs from the previous Wholegrain Milling range, reflecting the cost of sourcing and producing premium Australian certified organic grain and flour. Organic grain is grown in smaller quantities than conventional grain, and increasing demand, limited supply and rising farming and production costs all contribute to the price of high-quality Australian organic flour.

Q: Will there be any gaps in availability?
A: We expect a smooth transition. Our current Wholegrain Milling stock will continue to be available while the new Kialla range is introduced, helping to ensure continuity of supply.

Q: Where can I find more information and future updates?
A: We will continue to share updates about our product range over the coming weeks, including product availability, launch timing, pack sizes, any new additions to the range, and the closest equivalent replacement products for discontinued Wholegrain Milling items where available. We are working closely with our suppliers to keep customers informed throughout the transition and will provide further details as soon as they are confirmed. In the meantime, if you have any questions, our team is always happy to help.

Q: Will there be any new products or pack sizes available?
A: Yes. We are expanding our certified organic flour offer with new products and additional pack sizes. This means customers will have access to a broader range of organic flour options, including more retail-size products, providing greater flexibility and more purchasing choices to suit different needs and occasions.

For the initial launch, we will be ranging the following Kialla Pure Foods products and pack sizes:
