We do not store, pack or sell any peanuts or peanut containing products (with the exception of spreads). We do store and pack a wide range of products, many of which contain tree nuts. While we always follow very strict allergen procedures and caution is taken at all times, and are quite certain that there is no cross-contamination, for liability reasons we cannot 100% guarantee this.
Often peanuts will be stored near tree nuts, processed in the production line with tree nuts or packaged with tree nuts, so cross contamination before the product reaches us is an unfortunate reality. We take all potential allergen risks very seriously and would rather our customers are fully aware of this so they can make the decision as to whether or not the product is safe for them. This is why we include a disclaimer on the back of all of our product packaging.
We took the decision to avoid packing, selling or storing any peanuts on our premises to further reduce contamination risk.
Our grain products, rice, legumes and dried fruits are naturally nut free. Although these products are 'nut free' we pack a wide range of natural food products on shared equipment including nuts, seeds, grains and cereals. This includes sesame, soy and gluten. Any of our products may contain traces of these.
