Why does my bag of dried fruit appear inflated?
Our supplier has advised us of the process when packaging these inflated bags. This is due to the (food grade/organic standard) nitrogen back-fill process the bags undergo, to keep the best shelf life. This is a completely manual process so the bags tend to vary in the degree they are filled.
If the product is fermenting, there may appear to be more moisture and condensation within the bag.
