Why is there a layer of oil in my Peanut Butter?

Organic Peanut Butter (nut butters) is a natural spread made from 100% pure, roasted and blanched organic peanuts, that have been stone ground to make this spread.

Considering there are no additives, chemicals or emulsifiers in our nut butter, separation of the natural nut oils may occur. Simply stir oils back through until you have a smooth creamy texture.
